KARACHI: Unknown attack
ers targeted Lyari on Sunday with a hand grenade, which seriously injured at least 12 people.
The reason for the attack is said to be a gang war as the gren
ade was thrown at the house of an alleged gang leader, Uzair Baloch, at Sango Lano
neighbourhood. The attackers managed to escape.
City SSP Adeel Chandio said that explosive was made from a local material.
The victims were rushed to a medical facility for
treatment and two people are said to be in critic
al condition. The SSP also said that raids have been started to arrest the suspects.
